Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
A: Unfortunately, due to demand, we are unable to hold a property before an application is submitted. Once an application has been submitted and the required deposits paid, we can reserve the property.

Q: What fees are due at signing?
A: Prorated first month's rent, security deposit, and all applicable fees (pet deposit, etc.) are due when the lease is signed.

Q: How old do I have to be to apply?
A: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Application fees are non-refundable.

Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: The deposit is refundable. If tenant damages are present at move-out, the amount required for repairs will be deducted from the deposit. Once paperwork is processed and refund amount is calculated, the deposit will be refunded within 14 days.

Q: How do I apply?
A: Applications are available through our listings.

Q: How do I pay rent?
A: The easiest way to pay is through our portal, but if you would prefer a different method, feel free to reach out to cloverkeykc@gmail.com for other options.

Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: Contact us for approval. Some properties have pet restrictions, and we will want to ensure you're following those guidelines. Be advised that adding pets may require an additional deposit and/or increase your rent.

Q: I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
A: Contact us for assistance and we will help you get a plan in place.

Q: My lease renewal is coming up and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: Check your lease for details on requirements for giving notice. Your lease can be found in your portal.

Q: Who is responsible for paying repairs and maintenance requests?
A: Typically, most repairs are at the owner's expense unless the cause is a result of improper operation or abuse by the tenant, in which case the cost will be charged to the tenant or taken from the deposit at move-out. If you would like to enhance the property, a request must be made in writing for approval prior to any alterations being made.
