Owner FAQs

Q: Are you licensed?

A: Yes, we are licensed in Missouri. At this time we do not do business in Kansas, but that may change in the future.

Q: How and when will I get my funds?

A: Funds are sent via ACH on the 15th of each month, or the business day following if it falls on a weekend or holiday.

Q: Do I need to sign or see the leases?

A: Our property management agreement gives us the ability to sign a lease on your behalf, but our full-transparency process means that you have access to any and all documentation pertaining to your properties at any time through your owner portal.

Q: Do you sell real estate?

A: Our primary focus is property management, but if you need to sell one of your properties, we do have the ability to assist you in that!

Q: How is rent collection handled?

A: Rent is collected through the renter's portal, or through a variety of payment options that we offer.

Q: What is your standard lease term?

A: Typically we sign 12 month leases, but we also offer variations when needed to help avoid leases that end during colder weather months.

​

Q: How much security deposit do you charge a tenant and who holds it?

A: Typically a security deposit is equal to one month's rent, but in unique circumstances there may be an increase. We hold all our tenants' security deposits.

Q: How long does onboarding take?

A: Onboarding typically takes 2 weeks, but a larger portfolio may take additional time.

Q: What types of properties do you manage?

A: We manage single family homes and multifamily properties up to 6 units.

​

Q: How often will I get information about my properties?

A: We will send an update every Friday with the goings-on at your properties, and you will receive monthly financial reports via your owner's portal. The portal is available 24/7 with all your documentation at your fingertips.
